Here is my design for the Steelcase Menorah + Wreath competition. It’s clean lines, clever design and DIY inspired roots seemed to be a shoe-in as tops this year. I have to say, I think this is probably one of my best designs. This was produced with the following tools: chop-saw, drill, saws-all and a mitre box.

But alas, a piece bullshit NON-MENORAH eyecandy from SOM took first prize. Their entry was not a menorah, but rather an elaborate vacuumed-formed, CNC cut candelabra that could only be produced in SOM’s high-tech model shop. With total disregard for the Jewish faith and ceremony, they took it. Which leads me to believe that, as always, a total defiance of rules will always win a competition.

This thing is badass, I love it. I wish to see the one that won so I can pee on it.
anyone can make an esoteric candlabra but it takes an ARTEEST and a true philosopher to create such a magnificent and religiously accurate menorah!
i like her very much, like a candycane in some sort of chaunakkah ice cream milk. does this thing have spell check cause i don't know how to spell anyones religion or holiday. but i'm talking about horchata.
