so the first prototype fit really well. i’m curious about your opinions of the buckle. as far as the functional aspect it worked, tho the slot was not totally aligned with the tongue, so I’ll fix that. The action was nice, you get a good snap when it closes. the buckle itself held up 100lbs of steel and that was with the tongue being misaligned. so it’s going to get better.
whats your opinions on the finish?
do you like the edges?
this is 100% american made, which you can’t really acquire these days, which increases the value.
i can get any design laser cut into the buckle itself, any ideas?
also, i’m working with a glass blower for possible pendants inset in the steel. and i’ve been experimenting with sandblasting the glass for a phyical relief.
soon will be a belt buckle coming with the sandblasted glass inset in the steel, or brass, or stainless.
